Logline

Identity
With a photo attached: the two people in the photo are the subjects. Keep both faces exactly as they are, with bone structure, eye shape and spacing, nose, lips, jawline, hairline, skin tone and apparent age all unchanged. If the photo shows only one person, keep that face and create the other as described below.
Without a photo: create two original people, a bride and groom in their late twenties, both Indian. Invent both faces; do not base them on any real or well-known people.
Subject
A couple in their late twenties seated side by side on a low wooden stool, turned towards each other, both mid-laugh with eyes closed. Turmeric streaked on their forearms, cheeks and one shoulder each.
Wardrobe
Both in plain yellow cotton, hers a simple cotton saree with no border, his a kurta with the sleeves pushed up. Marigold strings around their necks. No jewellery beyond her thin gold bangles.
Set
An open courtyard at midday. Marigold garlands strung overhead, a brass thali of haldi paste on the ground, banana leaves against a whitewashed wall. Three or four hands enter from the edges of the frame, no faces.
Light
Direct overhead sun diffused through the marigold strings, throwing dappled warm light across their shoulders. Strong ambient bounce from the whitewashed wall as fill.
Lens
