Krea is a creative tool built around immediacy. Its real-time canvas regenerates an image as you sketch, move shapes or edit a prompt, so you steer composition directly instead of rewriting descriptions and waiting. Around that core it collects a wide set of models for image generation, enhancement, upscaling, video generation, motion transfer and 3D object creation, so you can move between them without separate subscriptions. Training a custom style or a personal likeness is supported, and the enhancer is often used on its own to add detail to low-resolution images. It suits designers, artists and video people who work visually and want fast feedback while exploring. The limitation is that aggregating many third-party models means quality and behaviour vary between them, documentation is thin in places, and heavy features consume the monthly compute allowance quickly on lower plans.

How to use it

Sign up at krea.ai with an email or Google account; the free tier gives a daily allowance that is enough to try the real-time canvas. Start with Realtime rather than standard generation, because it is the feature that explains the tool: you draw rough shapes or drop a reference on the left, type a short prompt, and the rendered result updates continuously on the right. Treat the sketch as composition control and the prompt as style control. When you have a frame you like, export it and move it into Enhancer for resolution, or into the video module to animate. Custom style training takes a handful of reference images and some processing time. Two practical notes: compute is consumed per second in real-time mode, so leaving a session open drains an allowance without producing anything; and because the platform wraps many underlying models, read the per-model notes before assuming a feature behaves the way it does elsewhere.
